JWT support within SecurityProfiles

We have the requirement to verify HTTP request with JWT tokens within App Connect Enterprise (IntegrationRuntime / IntegrationServer). In our use case the JWT token is used to ‘verify’ that the data was sent by a specific external system. In our case an API gateway, as central component to control the incoming traffic. Using mTLS is not an option for us – as the traffic is interrupted a Web Application Firewall (WAF - to scan the content). Means in the case of mTLS we would be only able to ‘verify’ the WAF – but not the original system (in our case the API gateway). At the moment JWT is not supported out of the box – and would require developing a custom PEP node. This is quite complex – as we would need it for all our flows. Thus, it would be great if e.g. SecurityProfiles would automatically support JWT token verification. Looking forward to your thoughts / feedback.

I see this requirement also at many other customers.
Thus a real value add for other customers.
