APIC v10 on CP4I - flexibility to have a mix and match of HA and non HA sub components

In our case, we do not need HA on our portal and management servers. However our gateways and analytics will need to be HA (in quorum). Currently APIC allows this but still the operator enforces the same number of instances of all sub components.

In CP4I each of the API Connect components (Manager, Portal, Analytics, and Gateway) can now deployed in a wider range of configuration that include determine which components are using a n1 vs n3 profile.

We acknowledge that within CP4I platform navigator, there are a set of different deployment options where a top level operator defines those configurations including a 3-node configuration that is required 3-node for each subsystem. We are looking into options to increase flexibility of deployment topologies when HA is not required for all subsystems in production, when some systems can be tolerated to have more downtime as acceptable.

This definitely gives more optimised and controlled option to manage resources.
