Idea / RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this RFE has been held in Uncommitted Candidate / Future Consideration status. This topic remains of interest to us - in fact prototype code in this functional area has previously been shared as part of our Early Experience Program, and it continues to score relatively well amongst attendees of our EEP summer workshop. Given the increasing use of JavaScript within the product, and noting the presence of the node.js runtime in the integration server runtime for other purposes already, this remains a technically feasible area for future enhancement. Status of the idea is maintained as Future Consideration.

Thank you for raising this requirement. We agree that offering the provision of other language runtimes to aid with transformation within a message flow would enhance the value of the product as it will continue our heterogeneous appeal to developers of different backgrounds. We have begun looking at how to combine JavaScript with our existing flow programming model so are seriously considering this enhancement for a future release. Status of this RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
