Ability to migrate/pull together the existing Integration Server's vault into a node wide one

After the 9th fix pack of ACE12 we got a new feature, to use a node wide vault ( instead of node and server level vaults ).

https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/app-connect/12.0?topic=wniv1-new-function-added-in-version-120-modification-packs-fix-packs#v12090

But there is no option/scenario to auto migrate ( with an mqsi* cpmmand or a REST call, or config modification ) your existing vaults ( node + intServer vault) into a node wide one without destroying the existing vaults. Now the only way is

  1. export the existing credentials,

  2. delete the vaults and

  3. recreate a node wide vault i

  4. import the exported credentials ...

So we think it would be a good feature, to create an auto process for that migration

thanks

Idea review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this suggestion, which we agree would help users adopt the new kind of vaults on offer if they would like to convert. Users do not have to move to adopt the new feature, hence why an auto-migrate command was not a pre-requisite action for us to ship this new functionality... but we genuinely would like to move in this direction in a future mod release and discussed the possibilities at length as part of our recent App Connect Early Experience Program (eg a update to either the mqsicredentials or mqsivault commands to enable the export of encrypted credentials to a zip file followed by import of encrypted credentials from the zip file). Status is updated to Future Consideration.
